Jimmy Dunn is a stand-up comic, actor and writer from Boston.

He has appeared on TV performing stand-up on Comedy Central, CMT and NESN’S Comedy All-Stars. He also spent the 2004 baseball season as the “Traveling Fan” for the Red Sox Pre-Game Show and was the correspondent for Jimmy Kimmel Live the night of the historic Red Sox victory over the Yankees.

Jimmy has captained the Boston team to victory three times at the Nantucket Comedy Festival. He was also chosen by Denis Leary to perform at Comic’s Come Home.

Jimmy’s book “Boat Hack” has been featured on Amazon’s “Hot New Comedy” and has become an underground favorite of stand-up comics. Boat Hack is about the life of a cruise ship comic who loves to travel but hates tourists and people who run cruise ships.

Recently, Jimmy was cast in a pilot for NBC called “The McCarthy’s” about an Irish-Catholic, basketball-loving family from Boston. He played the big, dumb brother, Sean and impressed Director Fred Savage with his comic timing and his ability to eat 26 ham sandwiches during a morning shoot.
